If you don't have many tools, or just need some help building your car, join us at the Pack 108 Pinewood Derby Workshop. We can help you get started or you can take advantage of the tools available and get your car ready for paint.

Time:

Date:

Where:

Directions:

What:

To prepare your son for the Pinewood Derby.  An assortment of tools and supplies will be available to build and paint your Pinewood Derby car.

Cost:

NONE, but Derby Car kits will be available for $5.00

You will have the ability to cut your unique designs from the kit blocks. We also typically have a power belt and disk sander available which greatly helps with forming the car shape. Jigs and fixtures for proper size and placement of wheels and axles are also available.

Everyone should take advantage of this opportunity to gather and prepare for the Pinewood Derby. If this is your first time building a car, many others there will be able to offer advice and explain the rules.

Even if your car is already completed, you still might want to drop in, say hello and weigh your car to make sure it is OK.

Don't forget that siblings are also welcome to build and compete with a car of their own. Pinewood Derby Car kits will also be available at this workshop for purchase in the event you want to purchase a car for a sibling, yourself or even replace your current Derby Car kit in the event of a minor mishap.
